How does our Mandibular Advancement Splint (MAS) work?
Worn during sleep, a MAS works to prevent the closure of the airway by holding the lower jaw in a forward position. This keeps the airway open and unobstructed during sleep – preventing the snoring from occurring.
The customised mouth piece is made from impressions taken of your teeth to ensure they fit you comfortably. Made from a hard wearing plastic, the mouthpiece is worn at night and works by holding the bottom jaw in a slightly forward position.
